This is a rich gold toran for your door: a row of gold kundan flower drops, each set with pearls, hangs evenly along a gold and pearl bead band about 100 cm wide.
A single long latkan of kundan flowers and coiled gold beads falls from one end, so it frames the side of the door as well as the top. Swarna phool means golden flower, and that is the whole look: gold, pearl and nothing else.

What size is it?
It is about 100 cm wide across the top band, which suits a standard single front door, a mandir door or a cabinet arch. Measure your door frame first if it is narrower than that.
How do I hang it?
Hang it from two small hooks or nails at the ends, just above the door frame. In a rented flat, removable adhesive hooks keep the wall clean and come off without marks.
Are the pearls real?
No. These are decorative pearl beads, the same finish used on festive torans and bridal decor. They keep their shine year after year and need no special care.
Is it only for Diwali?
No. A toran is hung for Diwali, Navratri, Grah Pravesh, weddings and pujas, and many families keep one on the main door all year as a welcome for Lakshmi and guests.
Which side does the latkan hang on?
The long latkan hangs from one end of the band. You can hang the toran either way round, so put the latkan on the side away from the door handle so it never catches.
How quickly will it arrive?

How do I store it after the festival?
Lay it flat in a box with soft tissue between the strings so they do not tangle, and keep it away from damp. Dust it gently with a dry soft brush and keep water and perfume off the beadwork.
