Design B, our Swastik Samvatsar, is a white MDF rangoli board in a 16 inch size: layered rings of large leaf-shaped petals opening around a shubh swastik at its heart. Fill each cut-out section with rangoli colour, coloured rice or flower petals and you have a neat, festival-ready rangoli in minutes. It works like a ready-made kolam, muggulu or pookalam outline, so the design is perfect before the first spoonful goes in.
Why you will love it
The swastik is cut into the board itself, so the auspicious mark stays crisp however you colour around it. It is a traditional choice for Diwali, Lakshmi Puja and Griha Pravesh.
The white lines stay visible between the colours, so even a simple two-colour fill looks finished and festive. There is no freehand drawing, no chalk outline and no smudged lines.
How to fill it
- Place the board flat on a clean, dry floor where it will stay.
- Spoon rangoli powder into one section at a time. A teaspoon, a folded paper cone or a squeeze bottle gives the most control.
- Level each section gently with the back of the spoon or a soft brush.
- Finish with diyas and a few marigold petals around the edge.
- After the festival, tip out the colour, wipe the board with a dry cloth and store it flat for next time.

Rangoli for UAE homes
Most homes in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman open onto a shared corridor or a polished marble lobby, where loose freehand rangoli can spread underfoot. Because every colour sits inside the board, your rangoli stays neat at the door all through Diwali, Navratri and every celebration in between. Frequently asked questions
What do I fill it with?
Rangoli powder is the classic choice. Coloured rice, coloured salt, lentils, flower petals and even turmeric and kumkum all work well.
Is rangoli colour included?
No, the board comes without colour so you can choose your own palette. You will find rangoli colours in our rangoli collection.
Can I reuse it?
Yes. Tip out the colour after the festival, wipe the board with a dry cloth and store it flat. It is ready for the next celebration.
How big is it?
About 16 inch (40 cm) across.
Is there a golden version?
Yes. The same Swastik Samvatsar design is also available as a golden MDF rangoli board with a gold foil face.
Which floor works best?
Any flat, hard floor such as marble, tiles or wood. On a rug, place it on a tray or a flat board first so the colour stays level.
When can I use it?
Diwali, Dhanteras, Navratri, Lakshmi Puja, Griha Pravesh, Onam, Pongal and weddings, or simply to welcome guests on any special day.
