This is a set of six hand-painted round clay diyas, each 7 cm across, packed in a window gift box. Every diya has a bright pink flower at its centre on a warm orange base, with green and gold detailing on the rim and a painted leaf on the spout, so the whole set reads cheerful and festive.
Light them with ghee or oil and a cotton wick, or pop a tealight inside for an easy Diwali glow. Unlit, they make a colourful accent on a pooja shelf or a festive table.
What is in the box
- 6 hand-painted round clay diyas, 7 cm each, with a traditional spout
- A window gift box with a foil-printed border and divided compartments, shrink-wrapped
- Wicks, oil and tealights are not included
A brighter take on the classic diya
The shape is the familiar round mitti diya with a spout for the wick, the one most of us grew up lighting. The pink and orange palette lifts it for Diwali, Karwa Chauth and family celebrations. Because each diya is painted by hand, small differences in the brushwork are part of its charm.
How to use and care for them
- For an oil lamp, add a little ghee or oil and lay a cotton wick along the spout. Do not overfill.
- For a tealight, drop a standard tealight into the bowl.
- Do not soak or wash these diyas in water, as it can lift the paint. Wipe with a dry cloth.
- Never leave a lit diya unattended, and keep it away from curtains and children.
A ready-made festive gift
The box arrives gift-ready for Diwali, Dhanteras, Bhai Dooj or a housewarming. It also makes a thoughtful return gift after a family pooja. Browse our Diwali Specials to build a fuller hamper.

Frequently asked questions
How big is each diya?
Each diya is 7 cm across, a good size for ghee, oil or a standard tealight.
Are these hand-painted?
Yes. Each diya is painted by hand, so the flowers match closely but every piece is slightly unique.
Can I light them with oil?
Yes. Add a little ghee or oil and lay a cotton wick along the spout. Tealights work well too.
Can I wash them?
Please do not soak or wash them. A dry cloth keeps the paint bright for next year.
