This is a bright, festive toran for your front door in the colours of fresh genda (marigold): red, yellow and green pom-poms strung in deep swags along a gold and pearl bead band, about 90 cm wide.
Two long pom-pom drops hang at the ends and frame the doorway the way a fresh marigold toran would, without wilting or shedding. Genda means marigold and moti means pearl, and this piece is exactly that pairing.

How do I hang it?
Hang it from two small hooks or nails at the ends, just above the door frame. In a rented flat, removable adhesive hooks keep the wall clean and come off without marks.
Are the pearls real?
No. These are decorative pearl beads, the same finish used on festive torans and bridal decor. They keep their shine year after year and need no special care.
Is it only for Diwali?
No. A toran is hung for Diwali, Navratri, Grah Pravesh, weddings and pujas, and many families keep one on the main door all year as a welcome for Lakshmi and guests.
Is it the same as a fresh marigold toran?
It gives the same red, yellow and green festive look, but it is made of soft pom-poms and beads, so it lasts for years. If you want fresh flowers as well, many families hang a fresh mango leaf string alongside it on puja day.
