The Shree Yantra in gold, set over a bed of natural raw iron pyrite. A daily anchor for abundance and steady flow, for a pooja room, an office wall or a cash counter.

What This Is

This is a 19 x 19 cm framed Shree Yantra. The full nine-triangle geometry is cut in a gold finish and set over a ground of authentic raw iron pyrite, the gun-metal grey stone, hand-glued onto a 2 mm composite wood sheet behind a clear glass front. It hangs on a wall or stands on a surface, and a lab test certificate for the pyrite travels in the box.

It is one of seven frames in the Divine Sansar pyrite range, all built the same way and all the same size, so a home or an office can carry a matched set rather than a collection of odd pieces.

The Geometry, and Why It Is Drawn That Way

The Shree Yantra, also written Shri Yantra or Sri Chakra, is not a decorative pattern. It is a precise construction, and every part of it is counted.

  • Nine interlocking triangles. Four point upward and five point downward, traditionally read as the Shiva and Shakti principles meeting.
  • Forty-three smaller triangles are formed where the nine overlap. Drawing it correctly, so that the lines meet at true points, is the difficult part and the reason poorly made yantras are easy to spot.
  • The bindu at the centre, the single point the whole figure resolves into.
  • Two rings of lotus petals, eight and sixteen, enclosing the triangles.
  • The bhupura, the square outer enclosure with four T-shaped gates, one on each side.

It is traditionally associated with Mahalakshmi and with abundance, harmony and the opening of opportunity. That association is tradition and energy alignment with intention, never a promised result.

How It Is Made

  • Solid wooden frame with a gold bead outer edge and a bright gold inner lip
  • Clear glass front over a bed of raw iron pyrite chips hand-glued onto a 2 mm composite wood sheet
  • The Shree Yantra is cut in a gold finish and mounted at the centre of the pyrite bed
  • 19 x 19 cm square
  • Wall hook on the back and a table stand, so it hangs or stands
  • Lab test certificate for the pyrite, included in the box

Why Pyrite

Pyrite is iron disulphide, FeS2, a cubic mineral that grows as sharp cubes and pyritohedra with finely striated faces. It is hard and heavy for its size, Mohs 6 to 6.5, and its brass to gun-metal lustre is why it earned the name fool's gold. Gold is soft and bends; pyrite is brittle and fractures, which is how the two are told apart.

The ground in this frame is a bed of natural stone chips. It is the real raw stone, not a moulded resin casting and not a gold-painted print. The tell is the uneven sparkle, because no two chips sit the same way.

What's in the Box

  • 1 x Pyrite Stone Frame with Shree Yantra, 19 x 19 cm
  • Lab test certificate for the pyrite
  • Instruction sheet
  • Maroon branded Divine Sansar gift box, suitable for gifting

Where to Place It

Best directions for placement:

  • Northeast (Ishan Kon) - The sacred direction for yantras and worship. The most auspicious placement.
  • North - The direction of Kuber, lord of wealth. The usual choice for an office, a shop or a cash counter.
  • East - The direction of the rising sun. Supports daily prayer and new work.

In Feng Shui the south-east is the wealth corner (Xun gua), which is a common alternative in a living room or a study for households following both traditions.

Mount on a wall at eye level (around 5 to 5.5 feet), or place on a clean raised surface such as a pooja altar, an office table, a locker top or a cash counter. Always keep the frame on a raised surface, never directly on the floor. Face it into the room, not out through a door or a window. Avoid bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and dark corners.

How to Activate It

Auspicious days to install: Friday, the day traditionally associated with Lakshmi. Dhanteras, Diwali, Akshaya Tritiya, Navratri and Varalakshmi Vratam are all traditional choices, as is the first day of a new financial year.

  • Wipe the frame with a soft, dry cloth. Do not wash it.
  • Rest it on a clean red or yellow cloth.
  • Leave it in soft morning sunlight for 15 to 30 minutes, or light an incense stick or a diya beside it.
  • Sit in front of it, take three slow breaths, then chant: "Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Kamale Kamalalaye Praseed Praseed Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Mahalakshmyai Namah" - traditionally 11 times, or one round of 108 on a mala. The shorter "Om Shreem Hreem Shreem Kamalatmikayai Namah" is also widely used.
  • Speak your wish in your own words, or simply offer the mantra as it is.
  • Mount or place the frame in its chosen spot. Your activation is complete.

The instruction sheet in the box carries the same steps.

Care

  • Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth once a month. Nothing wet, no sprays and no polish.
  • Keep away from water, humidity and steam. Pyrite contains sulphur and tarnishes when wet.
  • Recharge with sunlight or incense smoke every 2 to 3 months.
  • Keep out of reach of small children, and never soak the frame.

Pairs Well With

Quick FAQs

Is this a full Shree Yantra, or a simplified design?

It is the full construction: nine interlocking triangles forming forty-three smaller ones, the bindu at the centre, the eight and sixteen petal lotus rings, and the bhupura with its four gates.

Is the pyrite real?

Yes. It is natural raw iron pyrite in its gun-metal grey form, hand-glued onto a 2 mm composite wood sheet, and a lab test certificate travels in the box. It is not a moulded resin casting and not a gold-painted print. The tell is the uneven sparkle, because no two chips sit the same way.

Where should I place it?

Northeast is the most auspicious direction, then north for an office or a cash counter, then east. Keep it on a raised surface, facing into the room, and away from bedrooms, kitchens and bathrooms.

What day should I install it?

Friday is traditional. Dhanteras, Diwali, Akshaya Tritiya, Navratri and Varalakshmi Vratam are all common choices, as is the start of a new financial year.

Can I hang it, or does it stand?

Both. There is a wall hook on the back and a table stand in the box, so at 19 x 19 cm it mounts at eye level or stands on a pooja shelf, a locker top or an office desk.

Can I keep it in a shop or an office rather than a pooja room?

Yes. A north or north-east wall, a cash counter, a locker top or a reception desk are all common placements in the UAE.

How do I clean it?

A soft dry cloth once a month. Nothing wet, no sprays and no polish, because pyrite tarnishes with moisture.

What is in the box?

The frame, a lab test certificate for the pyrite, an instruction sheet, and a maroon branded Divine Sansar gift box.
