Checking availability?

This is a fresh item and stock moves through the day. If it shows sold out, message us on WhatsApp using the chat button on this page and we will confirm the next fresh batch and arrange delivery across the UAE.

This is a 100 g packet of fresh yellow marigold heads, cut from the stem and packed loose so they are ready for the thali the moment they arrive. Yellow genda carries the colour of Vishnu, Lakshmi and every haldi ceremony, and 100 g is roughly a full puja thali or a short garland. We pack to order in small daily batches rather than holding flowers in storage.

The heads come loose and stem-free, which is how they are wanted for aarti, for scattering and for threading. If you need stems for a vase arrangement, say so in the order notes and we will keep them on where the batch allows.

What you get

  • 100 g of fresh yellow marigold heads, loose and stem-free
  • Cut and packed on the day of dispatch, never from stored stock
  • Breathable packing so the petals arrive open rather than crushed
  • Roughly one full puja thali, a small toran, or a short garland

How it is used

Yellow marigold is offered at the feet of the idol, floated in the aarti thali, threaded into torans above the main door, and scattered around the kalash. It is the usual choice for Satyanarayan puja, Lakshmi puja and haldi, where the yellow is part of the ritual rather than only the decoration.

For a garland, thread the heads onto cotton thread with a blunt needle straight through the centre. For a toran, alternate marigold heads with fresh mango leaves.

Keeping them fresh

Open the packet as soon as it arrives and keep it out of direct sun. Marigold heads hold their shape best loosely wrapped in a damp cloth in the fridge, not sealed in a bag. Use within 24 to 48 hours for full colour. Do not freeze.

Fresh delivery across the UAE

Fresh items are packed to order, so they travel on a shorter clock than the rest of the store. We run fresh orders across Dubai the same day or the next morning, and reach Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman on the earliest slot available. Order before 2pm for the fastest turnaround, and put your puja date in the order notes so we can time the batch to it.

Free UAE delivery on orders above AED 30. Most people add fresh flowers to a pooja samagri order rather than ordering them on their own, which is also how they arrive best packed.

Questions people ask

How many marigold flowers are in 100 g?

It varies with head size through the season, usually somewhere between 25 and 40 heads. We sell by weight rather than by count so you always receive the same quantity of flower, not the same number of small or large blooms.

Are the stems included?

No. These are loose heads with the stems removed, which is what puja, garlands and scattering call for. Ask in the order notes if you want stems for a vase.

How long will they last?

Best within 24 to 48 hours. Wrapped in a damp cloth in the fridge they can hold a day longer, though the colour softens.

Can I order for a specific puja date?

Yes, and it is worth doing. Put the date in the order notes and we will cut the batch for that day rather than sending whatever is on hand.

Should I use yellow or orange marigold?

Both are offered and neither is wrong. Yellow is favoured for Vishnu, Lakshmi, Satyanarayan and haldi. Orange is the more common choice for Ganpati, Navratri and Diwali. Many families use the two together.

Do you deliver marigold outside Dubai?

Yes, across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman. Dubai is the fastest. For the other emirates, order a day earlier so the flowers reach you inside their best window.

Can I order a larger quantity for an event?

Yes. For weddings, mandap work or temple functions, message us on WhatsApp with the date and the quantity and we will arrange a dedicated batch.
