This is a round lotus diya platter, 20 cm across: eight gold cut-work lotuses backed in deep red surround a ring of white cowrie shells, yellow thread trim and a gold tealight cup at the centre.
Cowries have long been linked with Maa Lakshmi and wealth, and the lotus is her seat, so this platter sits naturally in the Lakshmi Puja setting on Diwali and Dhanteras.

For your home in the UAE
In Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman, where many homes cannot keep a row of open oil diyas on a balcony, a decorated tealight holder brings the Diwali glow indoors to the mandir, the dining table or the entrance console.
It qualifies for free UAE delivery on its own.

Frequently asked questions
What size is it?
The platter is 20 cm in diameter, wide enough to be the centrepiece of a rangoli or a mandir step while still fitting on most pooja thalis and console tables.
Are the cowries real shells?
They look like natural cowrie shells, as in the photo. Message us if you would like a close-up photo before you order.
Can I use a real flame?
Yes, with a standard tealight in its metal cup. Never leave a lit tealight unattended, keep it away from curtains, and let the cup cool before you touch it.
Can I use it with an LED tealight?
Yes. Many families in apartments use LED tealights, and this holder looks just as good with one.
How quickly will it arrive?
It is in stock at our Dubai warehouse and ships straight away. Delivery across the UAE usually takes 1-2 days, so it reaches you well before Dhanteras and Diwali.
How do I store it after the festival?
Wrap it in soft cloth or tissue and keep it flat in a box, away from damp. Dust gently with a dry soft brush. Avoid water and perfume on the thread and shells.
