Chhath Puja 2025 in UAE: Ultimate Guide to the Spot of Celebration

Chhath Puja that honors the Sun God (Surya Dev) and Chhathi Maiya are among the most significant festivals in Indian culture. This festival is characterised by harsh rituals, fasting, and worship and it is the symbol of the cleanness, thankfulness, and unity with nature. It is commonly celebrated in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and certain areas of Nepal; however it has now become a massive and exciting occasion in the UAE with the Indian community taking part in it, and they gather to bring back the spiritual touch of their home.  

Chhath Puja will be celebrated in the UAE during the period of October 25-28, covering more than four religiously important days: 

 
Nahay Khay: Saturday, 25 October 2025 
Kharna: Sunday, 26 October 2025 
The day of week is Monday, October 27, 2025 (evening) Sandhya Arghaya. 
Usha Arghya: 28 October 2025 (morning), Tuesday. 

 
Throughout these days, religious followers are engaged in rituals, which encompass fasting, holy bathing and offering of arghya (water offerings) to the rising and setting sun.
