Devotees offer prayers to Lord Vishnu at night during the auspicious timing.
Rangoli is made at the entrances of houses and temples, which is considered to bring prosperity and luck.
Then they chant ‘Om Namo Bhagvate Vasudevaya’ to keep Lord Vishnu in mind.
